Privacy Policy
MossyRoad is a free browser game in which you guide a turtle through swamp log barrier formations. This policy describes what we collect as you paddle along.
1. Information We Collect
Like a turtle moving at its own pace, we gather only what is essential. We may receive:
- Standard browser request metadata sent automatically — your IP address, browser name and version, operating system, and referring URL.
- Your personal best log count, stored only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to any external system.
- Anonymous aggregate session statistics that cannot identify any individual player.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use data only to keep the swamp passable (maintain the game), clear blockages (fix bugs), and understand general play patterns. No advertising, no profiling, no data sales.
3. Local Storage and Cookies
Your best paddle is saved in local browser storage only. Clear browser data and it sinks into the swamp — we hold no server copy.
4. Third-Party Services
Fonts load from Google Fonts via a standard browser HTTP request. No other external services receive your data.
5. Children's Privacy
MossyRoad contains no violent content, no gambling, and no in-app purchases. The turtle simply stops when it contacts a log barrier. Suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.
6. Data Retention
Server log files are deleted after a limited operational period. Local gameplay data stays on your device subject to your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable law you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Reach us through the contact form on our website.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical protections to data we handle. No internet transmission is fully secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy at any time. Continued play after an update constitutes acceptance.
